I remember that one vaguely. I was in high school, and had just moved from LA to FL in the summer of 1987. During that year we tied in Baton Rouge and our only lost was to Alabama. I remember this season, because we ended up beating South Carolina pretty handily in the Gator Bowl in my new found live in city of Jacksonville. The 1988 game is one of those you try to forget when you are on 'that side of the fence'!!

I see that you are from or live in Metairie. I lived in Metairie during my 7th grade school year and went to JD Meisler Middle School. I lived off Veterans Blvd, I believe on Neyrey Dr, just down from the Lakeside Shopping Center alongside of Causeway Blvd. I remember seeing Rocky III in the theater there. Ha Ha, LOL....GOOD TIMES!!

Thank you for being the class act that you are and for reminding me to eat some crow. It does not taste quite as bad as last year, but it still is nasty. LSU dominated this game and I was way wrong about the score.
Let me tell you something quick about my classless threads. I try to be creative with my posts and attempt to get people to think outside the box. Most of my writing is sarcastic and creative and complete BS. Most people can look deeper and understand. Obviously you can not. I was honored that you knew who I was, but it made me sad to be called classless.
I do not understand the "WE" that exists within the SEC conference and I have attempted to delve into many different reasons why this exists. I am not used to this type of fandom and I still believe it is a cheap way to justify one's football existence.
