I'm not arguing with nobody.  And exactly how do I want something for nothing?

Don't ever compare me to Fred when trading he is off the chart.  So is Frank.

Still waiting for a yes or no on:

So using your logic, both Adam Dunn and Laroche should bring more in a trade than Prince Fielder?

All I'm going to say is that Frank and I made two deals so far so we can't be that unreasonable. Foot in mouth

No you are both just retarded when it comes to trading and balance each other out.

Good TGIF Morning GB10, finally coming to the end of a pretty slow week...YEAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

I know Chris Bosh is an important player to the Heat, but I didn't know that outside of their Big 3 that absolutely no one is capable of scoring any points when the pressure is on.  Kudos to the Pacers for showing that a team full of quality second tier players that share the ball and can make open looks still can win in the Superstar focused NBA.  If they win Game 3 at home, the King With No Ring will have to suffer through yet another offseason trying to explain why his team just didn't get it done.

I have less than a 25 point lead on Tony, but after his pathetic performance from Jordan Zimmerman (boy am I glad I parted with him weeks ago) I have a 1 SP advantage through the rest of the weekend.  I am starting to feel bad for Estle next week because without making any moves to acquire a SP in the last few weeks, I will be lining up 4 two-start SPs to face the lowest scoring team in the entire league...not what I wanted at all, but I can't seem to find a trading partner that is willing to make a deal for one of them.

No you are both just retarded when it comes to trading and balance each other out.

Maybe so Austin, but we don't criticize each other for valuing certain players differently...we use it to our advantage to improve our team when others remain on the sideline hoping and praying their team plays better.  Some will say I was foolish for just dropping Josh Johnson, but when I couldn't trade him to anyone and their was what I thought a much better player available (Chris Capuano), I didn't hesitate to make the move...maybe it bites me down the road and maybe it turns out to be brilliant, but my only objective in the regular season is to be one of the Top 4 teams so I make the playoffs...I'll worry about the winning my 4th straight Championship later.

I just find your offers hilarious.  Never once has it been a win-win.  Not even close.

Don't worry too much Fred.  I'm sure you will again and win absolutely nothing.

You're right Val...I did the exact same thing when Frank dropped Yu Darvish...I saw value where he didn't.  It doesn't mean that at the time he was wrong and I was right...just two different people with a different opinion of the same player.

Why some owners are extremely difficult to make a deal with for me is likely because we don't have the same opinion of a certain player's worth...doesn't make either right or wrong, just different.  When you can find common ground on players, that's when a deal can be made.

As much as it pained me to see Dave land Josh Hamilton from Tony when I was after him as well and thought I had better SPs to offer than Ian Kennedy, ultimately Tony felt that was the best deal for him to make and he did it.  At least I took some solace in knowing that I was offering the right position players (tells me that I evaluated his needs correctly) and maybe next time I will be the owner someone comes to when they are looking for help at the SP position...only time will tell.
