Looks like Bassman01 stretched out his lead again.  But that pesky Gilmore guy kicked us both on the week.

Hey Hangout!

I need to pay my respects to Junior Seau, one of the greats to ever play the game and one of my heroes growing up.  What made him snap?  He had more money than he could ever spend, the prestige of being an all-time great linebacker, and most importantly three great kids.  Maybe it was the concussions..or maybe we'll never know.  Rest in Peace Junior Seau, #55.

A very sad thing that happened blitz. Seau was a great player and person. The concussions will be looked at real hard. The NFL is getting pretty tough on helmet to helmet hits.

Danica Patrick wrecked Sam Hornish Jr. -- on what seemed intentional -- at the end of Talladega's Nationwide race. Should NASCAR discipline her?

I don't think so, it was a little tap that got him loose and into the wall.  Now if she buried her fender onder his and turned him hard, then maybe.  But Sam drove her up 4 lanes and into the wall as well, so I think that is just part of NASCAR's "Have at it Boys" rule.

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn. -- The Metrodome always felt like a rental property for Zygi and Mark Wilf, two New Jersey real-estate developers who purchased the Minnesota Vikings in 2005 with the hopes of moving out of the place as quickly as possible.

Now the Wilf brothers will have a home of their own, hopefully by the 2016 season.

One day after winning their seven-year fight for a new stadium, the Vikings owners started to lay out their vision for the $975 million project they hope will serve as a recruiting tool for free agents for decades.

They appear to be leaning toward footing the bill for a retractable roof, which could help them bring a Major League Soccer franchise to Minnesota. They also see a stadium and plaza with cutting-edge technology and lots of open spaces for fans to congregate.
