As of right now, I'm going with Eli over Orton this week. The Jets and Lions both have weak D's against the pass, and I've got Brandon Lloyd as a reciever. So even if Orton does get off, I've got his favorite target in the line up. Only thing I'm worried about is the Giants going up early and then deciding to run the ball the rest of the game. I'm still a little torn, but right now, Eli's starting.
@ WeedToker...... 1. Pass that sh!t so I can toke, too! 2. I would start Eli over Romo. This is definitely a desperation game (IMO) for the Cowboys, but the Vikings have a pretty good pass defense. The Lions pass defense is 24th in the league.... I think Eli, Nicks, and Steve Smith are going to do their thing this week.
I know that I may be bordering on blasphemy here, but I am really considering starting E Manning over Brees this week! Especially since I got Nicks going also. I'd love to hear peoples thoughts on this one.

I started eli over brady this week i was nervous but now i feel like a genius!! Brady my be good trade bate right now if you have another halfway reliable QB like manning. Im puting him up looking for a top RB in my league!
Eli is nothing more than a bye week replacement. He's an avg QB playing for a team that will continue to run the ball more. Eli has three games under 200 yds passing, three games of 2 or more picks, and two games w/out even throwing a TD. Even when he does throw for a few td's he doesn't get the big yds (one game over 300yds). If eli is your starting QB in fantasy, you had better be stacked at all other positions and pray eli hits his usual 30 pt avg for the week.
