No problem, Andy. Stuff happens. As an oldy, I'm just a bit touchy on the header. The "I" in front of friends is not an idea I agree with. I've met a couple of the B&G good folks, and hope to meet others, so I'm not a believer in this being just a place for "I" friends.

Hunter Pence was a good acquisition by the Phillies last , considering what they offered for him, those damn Cardinals destroyed the brilliance of the move by sending the Phillies home fro the playoffs, dang we shouldn't have swept the Braves, but a magical year for the Cards. With that said not that upset about him leaving, nor Victorino, has given Domonic Brown a chance to prove his worth ( no not Jason ;-)). With the departure of Victorino, Pence , and Blanton, will free up some money to restructure the team around their starting pitchers, need bullpen help, an OF or two, with healthy seasons from Utley and Howard, should be able to compete next year. Your thoughts ?

My comments about the scrimmage last night echo your own buddy. And, you know that. The practices are meaningless, and should be abolished from having any bearing on the upcoming NFL season.
