In response to USC's punishment, I would have to disagree to an extent. I agree vacating some of their past Wins may be fair and maybe reducing their scholarships also... However, the impact of banning USC from post season play isn't entirely just. What the ban is doing, is also punishing/affecting the current student athletes. I would be furious to know that my college football career potential has suddenly become limited for circumstances I had nothing to do with. A major championship game is what every kid dreams of when they get to the college football level. The majority of the players weren't even enrolled at USC when the violation occurred, nor were they even involved.
Look at all of the great players to get drafted to the NFL in recent years. Most of them had some Bowl game experience to be proud of and reminisce about. These athletes are just kids/young men. Don't punish them, instead, punish the school by reducing/garnishing some of their winnings of their future few Bowl games.
