Control + C.........Control + V

Dear National NBA writers,

You guys are too funny. I keep seeing the same thing over and over. Please say something different, say something that hasn’t been said. I’m sick of reading season preview saying….Don Nelson’s system = all offense, no defense.  Don Nelson doesn’t teach defense, Jackson is a distraction or Don Nelson is a bad coach.

I get it. You’ve said the same thing for 3 years. True or not I get it.

Tell me something like Don Nelson spent the majority of camp on defense.

Contrary to popular belief, the Warriors weren’t the worse defensive team in the last season and the never have been under Nellie. Giving up the most points doesn’t make you the worst defense in the league, just as scoring the most points doesn’t make you the best offense. I’m not saying the Warriors are a good defensive team, they are much closer to the bottom then they are to even the middle of road defensive team but they are not the worst.

Here’s an interesting tid bit. Nellie has had 1 losing season in the past 8 years. That losing season came last year when 8 of the teams 12 best players missed over 200 games.

Tell me how Nellie helped change Randolph’s work ethic. How he recognized the talents of C.J. Watson, Kelenna Azubuike, and Anthony Morrow.

Write about Nellie and Jackson’s relationship. Write about how much Nellie loves Jackson (Nellie’s words, not mine). This is not Marbury vs. D’Antoni or Jamaal Tinsley vs. the Pacers. Nellie wants Jackson to stay. The Warriors want Jackson to stay. But Nellie and GM Riley like Jack so much they are willing to accommodate him. Jackson may be upset with the direction of the team but the team isn’t upset with Jackson.

It would be on thing if we were talking about Ricky Davis, AI or even Rashad McCants but we are talking about Jackson. Jackson doesn’t know how to dog it. He’s far too competitive not to give 100%. He thinks too highly of himself not to give it his all. Plus he knows the better he play the faster he will be traded.

This is dedicated to you, national NBA writer and columnist, guys who live on the East Coast and are asleep by the time the Warriors play. Stop the plagiarism. Do some research? Make your article or column your’s. Have an opinion. Inject insight.

You’re truly,

Pizzle Man D
