I can't come up with a catchy title

Posted on: May 2, 2008 1:02 pm

Sorry- my imagination must be burried somewhere out in the 3 feet of snow in my backyard. Yes it's May 2nd, and South Dakota got dumped on... snowed in. All day.

So my life must be fulfilled via my blog on! Not.

But there is some news coming out of Green Bay and no different from any other year, a great deal of it has to do with Brett Favre. Retired or not, he's a legend.

For starters, the Madden vidro game announced that he will grace the cover for the '09 game. If memory serves, that will mark the first time a retired player has done so.

Secondly, the Pro Football Writers of America announced that Favre will be honored with their 2008 Good Guy Award... so one more for the old man.

The Packers have also announced the starting date of mini camps... so we'll see how these rooks do.

Well, time to go shovel again so my dog can do his buziness.

Later peeps.

I can't come up with a catchy title

Hoops: I do hope you will have many warm and sunny days very soon. THINK SPRING!! As for me, springtime is BASEBALL; but minicamps are definitely coming soon! For your sake, I hope the Pack will do well; I pulled for them last year, and I know that they'll be back before long. Take care, cb4p.

One thing about the Packers you missed is the Rookie Orientation Camp taking place Today through Sunday at the Don Hutson Center in Green Bay.  This is where the Packers draft picks and rookie free agents get indoctrinated into the Packer way, the tradition of the Packers and have a few practices.
